Award Winning Kitchen Remodel
This award winning kitchen remodel features black cabinetry, gorgeous granite coutertops with Ogee edge and loads of working space. The client, who loves to entertain, also has 3 active teenagers. To create a functional space where the family can gather we moved the refrigerator away from the microwave and cooking are so that the kids could come in and get snacks and take care of themselves and not interupt the cooking.
Previously the space contained a peninsula which was too high to see the dining table. The island/peninsula before had no seating and it seperated the two rooms, so we brought it down to counter height so people could talk over the island and it also added lots of counter space.
Not shown: The space also bosts a huge pantry and custom file drawers so that the kitchen also functions as an office space.
